Growing Up.......

When daddy brings Carter to the salon to visit sometimes there are ladies under this dryer..he is not quite sure about it and the sound coming from it.

I thought I'd let him try it out.

I think he's over it!

He is quite intriqued with my printer also..Now when I print out my shipping labels..he is right there to catch them when they come out!

A Productive Day!

I thought I'd show these even though they are sold..this one is the newest color for Swarovski..its called VOLCANO!

I absolutly LOVE the way this necklace turned out and am so tempted to keep it for myself..but I always say that and end up listing it..so I did!
I'm not so sure I can make more of these..I don't know if my nerves, eyes and fingers can take it! All the knotting and trying to get them even..OY!
But the result was worth it!

Little boY has been keeping me busy but mamaw watched him for a few hours today and I got busy making jewelry..

New Bamboo Tile Bracelets!

I vowed I was going to stay up all night and make jewelry..I got a LARGE Tim Horton's Coffee....put on my jammies ..got all ready so I could just fall into bed when I was done..

Put Carter to bed..(I got up a few times with him but since I was all hyped up on coffee it wasn't a big deal) I lasted until 3 am! Not bad!

But this morning I felt like my eyeballs were bleeding!

I forget I'm not as young as I used to be and don't snap back as fast!

But I did make 6 bracelets..I still have 3 more to do but I really love the way they look..of course they are so much better in person..they are kind of floppy looking laying down but on they are nice and chunky and lay really good all the way around your wrist.

I show them on me but my wrists are puny (sp?) so don't use that as an example of how it will look on you..and I made them all about a size 8" which seems to work for everyone ;)

Beads and Pieces

I don't feel like I have made much lately, but when I put all my new stuff on here I was surprised! I guess I have taken a few stolen moments here and there and managed it somehow.

Carter is still not sleeping..he will be 15 months soon and I we are still getting up 3,4 or more times a night!

It has been worse lately..I noticed he looks bigger though so maybe it was grow spurts and they can have sleep regression when thats going on...I don't know.

Truthfully we take turns usually getting up 8 or more times a night when we just don't give up and put him in bed with us. Its such a mess and we are not sure how to correct it.

But oh well..

I have quite a few of these really cool earthy Agate Stones...I taking a break from the $$ Sterling and plan on making a whole series of them using brass and copper. In this one I love the combination of the Earthy Browns and Patina Greens!

I'm also going to do some simple and inexpensive one or two bead earrings using Hypoallergenic Niobium Earwires that I forgot I had.
They go with all metal really well and with the longer tail...seem to stay on good too!





Red Magma is a new color for Swarovski...its HOT
and I added a cute little flower...it really is striking when on!

This is a one of a kind ring since the stone is natural no 2 are alike! (this one is the best of the bunch)

And he is not for sale ;)well maybe at 3 am!

This is a little nook that I made the framers carve out when our house was being built..I could hear the snickers and joking from my hubby and them as I walked away ..but I knew little Carter boy someday would love this secret little nook.

If only I could freeze this picture and he would sit there like the little angel he appears to be while I bead the hours away.....................

Here kitty kitty!

As many of you know our cats were our kids BC (before Carter)

and they have been abscent for many of my blog post in the last 15 months.

They have taken a back seat I'm ashamed to say ..

until now!

Carter boy has finally tamed them..for months he has done nothing but squeal at the top of his lungs while wringing his hands together at them sending them running at warp speed out of his reach!

But he has calmed down a bit and they are warming up to him even purring.

I guess they figure this "thing" isn't going anyway so they might as well go with it!

Of course he had to 'cheez" he was so happy to find them!

Ye Olde Mill

WE went for ice cream and to feed the ducks the other day...Carter had no interest in ice cream that day..too busy!

He is fearless so far with everything!

This was yesterday at Micheals...he wasn't too crazy about daddy putting this on him!




I have had this pendant for a long time...I've never been quite sure what to do with it..but finally I had an idea and I'm really happy with it!
