3 months old!

Carter is 3 months old today!

Baby Exercise

They scare you to death in the hospital and in books about SIDS..

So Chris and I spent the first 6 weeks with sleepless nights laying awake with the monitor blaring in our room..listening for breathing!

Now he sleeps in a wedge...

As a result babies today are crawling later than the babies did years ago because of the lack of tummy time.

So I have to make a conscious effort to put him on his tummy at least twice a day..and the goal is for him to raise his head (at least 45 degree's at his age) you can imagine the cheering from me as he trys!

At first it's heartbreaking to watch..nose to the floor.. huffing and puffing..snorting and snotting..

and you should hear him!

haha- just kidding!

So now its wonderful and easy to watch as he can lift his head and look all around :)

Lucky 7

So today was our Anniversary..And I thought I would show some pictures of our wedding for those of you that couldn't make it!

I have a vivid memory of these girls (Chris' nieces Paige & Ashlan) We were getting ready to walk down the aisle...Just us three all alone after the bridesmaids had gone...the youngest one (Ashlan) turned to me and said "Are you and Uncle Chris going to have kids?"

My heart just sank because I knew of course that I couldn't have any..It was all I could do to choke out.."hopefully"

Well hope happened...like miracles do..

And this is what the three of us did today seven years later...

Chris gave me roses in the morning and said he was taking the day off! Well as off as he can do...I guess cell phones don't count!

But who cares ...we were going to Easton!

The first stop we make is lunch at Brio...Carter is practically made of Brio, when I was pregnant we ate there everytime we went to Easton.

He did really good when he woke up...

I ended up holding him while I ate..he just sat real still and looked around.

The fountains where the kids run through the water was right behind me and he looked that way alot

The Columbus Zoo brings in animals for the kids to see..here they are bringing a baby white leopard!

The next stop was Babies R Us..the place that used to intimidate us now is familiar and fun!

We sat Carter in a new bouncer and he loved it so much we had to buy it..he just kicked and laughed so much more than in the old at home!

Then we came home...and Chris' mom said she would watch him for a few hours so..we went out to eat again!!!

What a day..I haven't had this much excitement in 3 months!

I honestly felt like I was on vacation..I loved it but I'm looking forward to tomorrow..home with my peanut!

New Neck Lace!

I feel so accomplished when I make something and list it all in one day..well one evening and the next day. I have such little time to "Etsy" anymore compared to the "BB" me. (before baby)

So here is my latest..and I have no baby pics today but I wish I did ...he sure is changing by the hour it seems.

Tomorrow is our 7 year anniversary and I think we are having dinner out alone...what I used to take for granted now seems such a luxury!

Dog Days of Summer

Yes I have been absent for a few days...no reason why...Carter and I have just been enjoying the summer playing since someone only takes little cat naps, or as I like to call them..power naps!

Daddy got a new haircut and now matches little boy!

His new thing this week is grabbing and holding stuffed animals and burp cloths!

And in jewelry news...I finished all the Crystal necklaces and finally got them listed.

I managed to make a couple new necklaces made also...sometimes I wish I had endless hours to make all the jewelry designs that are floating around in my head. But everyone has told me to cherish every moment with Carter that I can because it goes to fast...so when I am abscent.. that is preciously what I'm doing!

We finally got got images caught of Carter smiling!

At this age they smile and laugh but its so fast and the camera is never ready..but yesterday he was smiles all day. Everything was funny..especially ceiling lights! He thinks the ceiling light in our bedroom is hilarious..he can spot that thing a mile away and is makes him smile!

I finally got all the Crystal Necklaces made, oxidized, photographed and listed!

They are really pretty in person and the perfect simple little necklace to throw on!

I have another batch ready and these I am going to hand buff the chain to let some of the silver show through giving it that time worn look.

I honestly like them both ways..I have the purple one in the dark finish and I wear it all the time!

These are the gorgeous Swarovski Crystals I got in!

I've made 20 necklaces..and Oxidized them..next is the buffing and taking pictures..descriptions and listing.

It now takes me days to do what took hours before! HAHA

So look for them to be listed some time this week!

I now have 455 sales!

I remember last year when I started (July 14th) it took me forever to get a sale and then I thought I'd never make it to 10!

I am so thrilled to have 500 in sight!!

Thanks to everyone that has supported me...now lets take it to 1000!

Boppy Boys!

This was a surprise I found when I walked in Carter's room..seems like Fido is finally accepting the perks that come with having a baby around!

The Geek Squad came and fixed my computer! But like any appliance, this dumb computer has done the same thing for 6 months and I'm not kidding you it stopped doing it yesterday morning!

But he said when I updated my Norton it removed a tool bar that could have been causing the problem..and he added some memory and cleaned out, updated and showed me how to back up using my new external hard drive.. so his trip was worth it!

And I have my fast computer back..what a relief!

It was funny because poor Carter, he did so good considering the geek was here from 1:15-7:00!

But he liked looking at him..I think his black & white uniform fascinated him!

The nerds are coming!

It's a great day...a uniformed member of the Geek Squad is coming to my house today! That is what the guy on the phone said..can you just picture that?

My computer has been limping along since I was 6 months pregnant! I have been putting it off thinking it would get better..and for some reason you just adjust to the problem. But I have finally had it! It is the biggest pain right now and its driving me nuts!

So I will not be available for awhile in case anyone is trying to email me..But hopefully this afternoon it will be as good as new!
