Are you wondering what happened to me?

Well bronchitis happened to me :( I'm so tired of coughing!

So all appts have been cancelled for 2 days and the only place I have been is the doctors office.

I'm hoping to get back to work tomorrow.

Little boy Carter has been taking care of his mama...we have been couchin it watching the Sprout Channel.. Kipper is my favorite! LOL

..I did get these necklaces made for a custom order, I have more to make but that can wait.

Basic Black

Once again my little assistant was helping me this morning...he kept making his famous "cheez" face which means he wants his picture taken..but I was preoccupied trying to get a picture of the new black rose flower ring.

So little smarty pants scooped up the ring..put it on his finger..and held it up so I had to take his picture too!

A sneak peek at what I made this afternoon...it was dark before I could get a picture of the necklace so it will have to wait to be listed until tomorrow. I really love how it turned out..it surprised me!

The lock toggle clasp and black heart gives this bracelet an edge!

Wall Flowers

I made this Sterling Silver Clay pendant some time ago..I think before Carter was born..remember my story about cinging my bangs when I fired my pendants over the gas flame?

I kept this one in my pendant container thinking it just wasn't good enough but I hated to through it away..so the other day I decided to put a pretty Crazy Blue Lace Stone with it..listed it on Etsy when I came into the house on a break from working..went out did some hair color and when I came in ..it was GONE!

I love when that happens!

I wish I could make more but I just don't have that kind of time these days..its so messy and time consuming working with the (pmc)precious metal clay

Maybe someday...

New Year..New Hair!

I am so glad to be 43 today you have no idea!

I've had it in my head for years that 42 was bad..you just hear of people dying at 42..Elvis ( yes I know you are still trying to process the fact I am an Elvis fan) LOL

And I lost my sweet brother when he was 42...

And the second my birthday was on last year..Chris got deathly sick and I called our doctor at 2 am...he had the flu all the next day and night..that set the tone for the rest of our aweful year.

SO...

I decided to cut my hair to start fresh and bring on the GOOD!

We all got haircuts for good luck!

Plus we were lookin shaggy LOL

I finally have some more black flowers in for rings..they are a new shape of flower too!


You don't know how close I came to keeping this one..its smaller in size and fits me perfect.......

but I sacrificed again :)

This may sound crazy but its true..when I am on a jewerly designing binge..many times I wake up through the night and start making jewelry in my mind..when I woke up this morning this bracelet design came to life!

I had been wanting and struggling to think of a way to use this sanke toggle and these tree agate beads.

I was so excited when I thought of it..I left my boys still asleep and headed out to my shop to make it!

I even added snake eye beads...click on pic to see full listing!

My little assistant this morning is adjusting the piece for the photo..LOL
