These have been a year long project...even longer if you count when I first got the dictionary!

I searched thru a vintage dictionary to find fun interesting pictures for these bezel necklaces.

It was very frustrating to get the right products to attach paper to glass and brass...at first the paper soaked up the glue in blotches and I had to walk away...

But finally I came up with a time consuming idea but it worked.

I did that this past summer.

Finally one day in the back room of my salon while color was processing I had the urge to make them into something wearable...and wah la! tA DA!

They look really good on..I love the old paper with the brass and then the touch of color the beads bring,

Any Vera Bradley fans recognize this print? Its my favorite one "Sittin in a Tree" I have several bags in this pattern.

I bought the wrapping paper to line some drawers. and this was a scrap.

Hope you are enjoying the season...I have new pictures to post later..tonight was Carters preshcool Christmas program.

Lets just say..when he was a baby we really thought we had a shy one. WRONG!

Here we go again...off to the tree farm..Hi Ho Hi Ho!

At least it was warm this year..we went late in the day as the place was closing..talk about pressure! But I think it was a good thing..I really love our tree this year, might even be my fav so far :)

Did you know 3 year olds like to run and fall down? In stores...in parking lots..at tree farms.

I thought this would be a fun project for a 3 year old..turns out licking the chocolate icing off the knife was!

Happy late Thanksgiving...We are busy decking the halls now. And when I say "we" I mean "me".

I now know that "lets decorate all weekend" means "I'm going to watch football while you decorate all weekend!"

Ahh thats ok..it works out better for a control freak like me anyway.

But then I have a little man that wants to "help" do everything...ugh!

well thank goodness for spiked egg nog!

I just finally decided in a world now of over exposure with blogs and facebook..I find myself wanting some privacy especially with all the pictures of Carter on here.

I had alot of fun with my blog over the years people all over the world reading it and it really helped with my jewelry sales. But now I know only the people I want to see it, will :)

We had a really cool full rainbow one evening..it was even a double one on one side

My boy is getting so big!

He LOVES to ride his bike and makes me ride with him in our driveway..we do circles and "power shift" LOL

First day of Preschool

Its finally here the day I have been looking forward to and dreading! I have had him signed up for a year and have been talking to him about it..he always says he is excited..that was until the day before when he declared he was not going! NO I NOT GO!

So I drove him to the building and showed him what door we would go in and all that..and when he saw the playground he was back on board!

That morning I was more nervous than he I think as I hurried him around to get ready I felt my hands shaking a bit.

But he did great and was such a big boy. It was raining so he was excited to use his Thomas umbrella. (props always help) and he walked right into his class..the teacher showed him his name on the table and it had a dinasaur cut out beside it. She gave him a puzzle and he was like.."bye mom" LOL

When I went back to the class to get him..he was in the same chair..it amazed me how this many 3 year olds were so being so orderly. But then he locked his eyes on me and he lit up and came running "MOMMY"! nearly knocking me over!

On the way home he was yawning and I said wow preschool really makes you tired huh? He said "Yea all that work we done!"

As soon as we walked in the house he said "whew we did it mom"! I love this kid!

Daddy took him to the grocery while I was at work and he put his head down and fell asleep right in the cart! Sound asleep too he was bobbing his head in the parking lot and slept awhile at home! (this is the kid that never sleeps!)

He is lucky his first friend got into his class too! Her mom and I joke this picture will be the prom in a few years! LOL

Its so exciting and I am so proud of him..but the really strange thing that I keep thinking about is...It bugs me that I don't know what he did in that classroom..I have been with him constantly for 3 years.. but now I have let him go alittle and it bugs me. I guess I love to watch him learn everything and I sort of feel like I'm missing out.

But hey..with time to do what I want for a few hours...I will learn to deal with it!

I did not think to take a "before" picture..so just imagine it being dirty old and brown! I got it at a yard sale a while back...can't remember the price I think 5 bucks. It took me a while to decide what color to paint it. It was still a bit plain so I found a wonderful wall decal site on Etsy..Tweet Heart Wall Art they were great to work with me on size and shrunk down a large wall decal to the size I needed!

This was a basic black coat rack shelf I ordered from JCPenney...

I painted and distressed it..spray painted the baskets..Chris added more and different hardware..

And voila`!

I decided to talk about the love of my life...DECORATING MY HOUSE!

This is what I live for..haha

I know there are others like me out there so this post is for you!

I am in to stripes right now for some reason..maybe because I am pretending I live in Maine or somewhere along the coast. LOL I have realized I do tend to decorate with that style. hmmmm

Confession- this hall has been painted 3 times in 3 years. Colors did not feel right...I finally did the bulk of the house in Martha's "toasted marshmellow" but when I added the stripe of "tobacco leaf" it sealed the deal. (for now anyway) LOL

I really love the way they make things on the walls stand out.

Stripes are Soooo easy to do ..really. If you can use a tape measure and a level you can do it!

I have been off all week and Chris for part of the week..seems like house projects are in the air..these are storage shelves for the basement. Carter likes to be a part of whatever we do....

So I put him to work ;)

Something different.....Vintage Chic!

I finally got my hands on a vintage dictionary thanks to my ex-neighbor and current friend..Nancy!

There are some really appealing pictures, letters and words that can be used in many different mediums.

I choose aged brass to go with the vintage style.

The paper is original and not copied so everything is one of a kind!

These are the initials rings...they are going to be limited as I only have so many of the letters in my book. These should not get wet so take them off before washing hands.

The size is adjustable and should fit just about everyone!

The earrings are just the right size and very comfy to wear..I'm going to have fun words that go together. If you have any requests I will do my best to make a set up for you!

These are the pictures..there are some you would expect and some really unusal ones. I applied them to wood discs..not sure yet if I'm going to make them pendants, magnets or tacks. Any suggestions or preferences ? I would love to hear!

Not sure if anyone stills looks at my blog or not..but here I am!

These are a few bracelets I made...only one is available for sale. Susie Q is named for the girl who bought it in my hair salon before I got it listed on Etsy and I kept Earth Rocks because...I loved it :)

Sterling Silver is still sky high in price so I have not bought any wire lately to make the wire wrapped rings...I might get some soon but they will have a price increase so I am still undecided.

I do have some plans for a vintage dictionary I have...using the pictures and words for some vintage-y pendants, earrings, hairpins and rings! Just a teaser for whats to come ;)

And my little Carter boy is thriving!

He is 3 now and doing all sorts of things! I love the 3's.. They can be trysome for sure but I love seeing the person he is unfolding each day.

As for me..my creative outlet has switched from beads to scrapbooking and tweeking my house...The more things I do.. I am finally bonding with this new house and it's feeling like home.

And for some reason I want to visit Maine ..I have for quite some time but lateley its been intense, so since we can't just pick up and go (not a trip that would thrill a 3 year old)...I have been reading fiction books set there...

I don't know my deal is.. maybe its just the heat~

Its supposed to be spring..we know it... we feel it in our hearts...we see it on the calender. But what we see is snow falling ..AGAIN..and our joints are aching STILL...

But spring is close..and we can dream about the warm sun and prepare our spring wardrobe!

A Day at Dawes

Not much jewelry making going on these days...just taking everyones advise and "enjoying it because they grow up so fast"

These pics are at Dawes Aboretum which we are lucky enough to have it just right up the road from us so we go there often in the evenings.

After the sun gets low ..the Japanese Garden becomes nothing less than enchanting.

As kids we went there on field trips alot for school and it wasn't really too exciting..just a bunch of trees. But as adults we are amazed at the vast collection and variety of trees. Its so impressive and we think we are passing on the appreciation of it to Carter as much as is possible. He does what we do by walking along and touching and smelling. We always bring home something...a cat tail from big pond, pinecone, bird feather..we put them in a vase by our foyer and he looks at them all the time :)

Chris finally found some time to concrete the rest of our driveway..it was long over due and we are really excited!

So was someone else..Carter was right out there in the middle of it all~

And he even got to make his mark

And soak himself with the hose!

WE had such a fun weekend!

Fireworks 2 nights..Friday night was at the mall with friends..Carter had sooooo much fun running around with all the kids.

Saturday night we went to the campus and was right under the fireworks, it was incredible..Carter kept sticking out his tougue to catch them!

We went to the Granville Street Fair but the heat was unbearble so after 2 rides in the burning sun and a very sour lemon shake-up... we called it quits :(

A Memorable Memorial Weekend...

Our weekend did not start off good. We bought Carter a little pool for our back patio..its on the south side of our house. The sun had been shining all morning on the metal threshold on our french door..Carter stepped on it and went down screaming! I couldn't figure out what had happened at first and then I looked at his foot..it has just melted his skin, we never would have dreamed the sun would have made it that hot.

We put his foot in a bucket of cold water and rushed him to the ER. Needless to say it was a horrible experience. He cried and screamed and clung to me..he was hysterical..and all with his foot in this bucket.

No one offered any kind of help it was as if they had never worked with a little kid in such pain!

I begged..pleaded..(yelled) at anyone coming in our room for some help.

Over an hour later the doctor came in and said yes it was a 2nd degree burn and offered Tylenol. Woo.

I asked for something stronger please????

...they put on Neosporin and wrapped it.

He was so exhausted..the car drive home put him to sleep and finally he could rest and we could decompress.

I was so scared for him to wake up..but when he did he was happy and in a great mood :) I guess the Tylenol with Codeine did the trick!

He has been a real trooper..he sat in his little chair and watched hours and hours of Kipper dvd's ..it was a great distraction!

He is doing really well and we have changed the bandages..(I was scared to look at it) and now he is walking on it.

He is making us laugh when we tell him to be careful and walk slow he hunches over like and old man and walks really slow looking at us with a sly little smile!

I feel like I should be on Oprah to warn everyone about the hidden dangers in your own home..it was so freak we never would have imagined something like that happening.

Lesson learned..don't bother with our local ER!

I'm a little late in this post ..but our life is full and busy in the best way these days!

As you can see..Carter was so excited to get his balloons!

I found him a Kipper the Dog stuffed toy on Ebay..they don't make them anymore. You squeeze his hand and he says some of Kippers famous phrases..he hugs and kisses him all the time!

I didn't have any luck getting someone to make him a Kipper cake so his next love is Backhoes and Bulldozers

Daddy bought him his first set of "real" golf clubs and he knows just how to use them!

He is just doing so many little boy things now..climbing..talking and he is looking more kid like now too!

We are having so much fun with him this summer he makes everything so much better and

I'm so lucky that I get to be his mommy!

AS you may have guessed I have been on a bead burnout but...I do feel just a tad of that creative juice starting coming back!

So I made a few earrings..but I am out of supplies and I mean OUT!

I have no Sterling Wire and my beads are just leftovers...so I need to sell what is in my shop in order to buy new pretties!

Eatin Breakfast and Bird Watchin'

We went to the mall today to see the Easter Bunny..Carter LOVES him and ran right up and stood yes stood on his lap with his arm around him.

My scanner is broke so I can't show you a pic..darn its cute too!

But we are loving that the Easter Bunny is a great threat and bribe! He buys it everytime that the Easter Bunny is watching him...oh you better be good I just saw the Easter Bunnies ears by the window! Oh the Easter Bunny loves green beans so you better eat a few!

Also we finally let him play in the play area of the mall..it was nuts with crazy kids running everywhere! And Carter loved it..I was so happy to see that he is not shy or backward at all he just ran around entertaining himself..it seemed like the other kids were in groups but he just ran, climbed on all the little animals and laughed and laughed!

We actually grilled hamburgers out on our deck today and Carter ran around the muddy yard and loved it!

I decided not to post until I had something positive to say..the snow has been never ending this winter and the cabin fever has been unreal for us and everyone I talk to.

So we decided to paint our house to try to get our minds off of the outside ..but as I went back to the store for more and more cans of sample paint all we did was ocnfuse ourselves (as you can see from the spotches of paint on our kitchen walls)

Brown is a tricky color..it either has an orange cast..purple cast..puky cast..LOL

I finally got tired of trying and painted over it all with the original wall paint giving up until our frame of minds got better.

Thank goodness Chris took matters into his own hands and when I was at work he got the only swatch of brown we had not tried..painted the whole kitchen and when I walked in..it was done and I loved it!

Now onto the foyer..oy!

Carter decided to put on his vest and hat..pull up a chair and watch his crazy parents pick out a paint color!

Here in Ohio we have TONS of snow!

Well its alot more than we have had in years anyway..and it won't stop..every day it snows all day.

This is the view from my kitchen window of our neighbors house..I love looking at their house..it always looks so cozy.

I would normally love it but not when you husband is a builder and has a house ready to go!We have cabin fever really bad..my only relief is going out to my bright happy little salon and escaping into work..I'm loving it!

I've even managed to make a few new things...but I have to confess in my spare time I'm catching up on bookwork for tax time. There is nothing I hate more..thats why I put it off all year until I have no choice.

These are not a staged pictures..its really my little eager helper boy loading his laundry in the washer...any bets as to how long this will last?! :-)

I'm kind of burned out on wire wrapping an entire necklace or bracelet..I've done hundreds by now and I decided to clear my head and think about what jewelry I am attracted to personally.
I realized I like simple one or two bead jewelry and usually with natural components like a really unique stone or clasp or chain. I also like leather cord.
So I made a couple of simple double strand necklaces I'm calling my "Simple Chic" collection!
The only downside is they are really hard to capture the true beauty in pictures..they look best ON!
But here they are...let me know your thoughts...is it a good direction to go?!

Are you wondering what happened to me?

Well bronchitis happened to me :( I'm so tired of coughing!

So all appts have been cancelled for 2 days and the only place I have been is the doctors office.

I'm hoping to get back to work tomorrow.

Little boy Carter has been taking care of his mama...we have been couchin it watching the Sprout Channel.. Kipper is my favorite! LOL

..I did get these necklaces made for a custom order, I have more to make but that can wait.

Basic Black

Once again my little assistant was helping me this morning...he kept making his famous "cheez" face which means he wants his picture taken..but I was preoccupied trying to get a picture of the new black rose flower ring.

So little smarty pants scooped up the ring..put it on his finger..and held it up so I had to take his picture too!

A sneak peek at what I made this afternoon...it was dark before I could get a picture of the necklace so it will have to wait to be listed until tomorrow. I really love how it turned out..it surprised me!

The lock toggle clasp and black heart gives this bracelet an edge!

Wall Flowers

I made this Sterling Silver Clay pendant some time ago..I think before Carter was born..remember my story about cinging my bangs when I fired my pendants over the gas flame?

I kept this one in my pendant container thinking it just wasn't good enough but I hated to through it away..so the other day I decided to put a pretty Crazy Blue Lace Stone with it..listed it on Etsy when I came into the house on a break from working..went out did some hair color and when I came in ..it was GONE!

I love when that happens!

I wish I could make more but I just don't have that kind of time these days..its so messy and time consuming working with the (pmc)precious metal clay

New Year..New Hair!

I am so glad to be 43 today you have no idea!

I've had it in my head for years that 42 was bad..you just hear of people dying at 42..Elvis ( yes I know you are still trying to process the fact I am an Elvis fan) LOL

And I lost my sweet brother when he was 42...

And the second my birthday was on last year..Chris got deathly sick and I called our doctor at 2 am...he had the flu all the next day and night..that set the tone for the rest of our aweful year.

SO...

I decided to cut my hair to start fresh and bring on the GOOD!

We all got haircuts for good luck!

Plus we were lookin shaggy LOL

This may sound crazy but its true..when I am on a jewerly designing binge..many times I wake up through the night and start making jewelry in my mind..when I woke up this morning this bracelet design came to life!

I had been wanting and struggling to think of a way to use this sanke toggle and these tree agate beads.

I was so excited when I thought of it..I left my boys still asleep and headed out to my shop to make it!

As my boys took a long afternoon nap today I tip toed out to my shop and made a few things...

I revamped the Blue Bird Necklace a bit~

I AM SOOOOO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS NEW YEAR..more than any other year I think...we had some good things happen in the past few days..

The best thing was we have rented out our spec house..we would rather sell it but in this down market we are thankful to rent it.

Maybe in 6 months or so the market will be back and it will actually work out better for us.

Christmas is over...

I don't have our christmas morning pictures uploaded on my computer yet so here is christmas eve morn and today..all the cheezz face of course!

Now on to business...

WE moved all my jewelry things out to my hair salon..with Chris out of work until spring I am going to bead up a storm!

I can't do it in the house..when Carter knows I am upstairs working he drives us all nuts to get up there..and I can't concentrate when little hands are grabbing everything in on my tables!

So I am planning on going out there for a couple of hours a day to create.

I'll take a pic to show you my new work space..already I have made 2 new things in between hair clients!

Merry Christmas

I am so looking forward to tomorrow!

Christmas Eve..its free day for me..a day to forget all my worries and just focus on something good.

A day off to bake cookies..wrap Carters presents and get ready for the family party.

No worrying about selling houses...building houses..doing hair...making jewelry...paying bills..Chris getting layed off (they could have waited till after Christmas to do it grrrr)

Just a no brainer day (I hope ;)

But this little guy makes it all worthwhile..

Good things do happen even in what seems like a season of bad..my Aunt Mona made Carter this Christmas stocking...I wanted so badly for him to have something handmade from her, something we would get out each year and it would have meaning..an heirloom to pass on to his children.

My mom surely would have made him one if she were here..that is why I asked my Aunt to..anything would have been perfect as long as she made it but when I saw it..my eyes instantly teared up. It's like she read my mind of what I wanted..Carter loves snowmen and the detail and time she put in it means so much. It's very special, I think he likes it too ;)

Something to remember this Christmas...

I also have to say yes we have had a difficult year..we are struggling no doubt but millions of others struggle forever..its all they know. I look around and recognize "that look" on peoples faces now. I have become so much more concious of everyone around me..its like that saying "until you walk a mile in my shoes" you really don't know.

We at least have the means and skills (if the economy ever comes back)..it will get better for us we know this. The future looks bright and we know this is only temporary.

Chris and I have talked alot about next Christmas not only for us but for what we want to give to others that will still be struggling.

I don't mean to ever complain..we are warm..healthy and have eachother ..I would chose that over anything else.

Thanks to everyone that has supported me through buying my jewelry and friendship!

Snow Day

As I was working today..Chris and Carter had fun in the snow!

Chris came to the salon door and told me to look outside..

oh my gosh my client and I laughed so hard when we saw Carter..Chris dug this snow suit out of his closet and squeezed him in it like little Randy from "The Christmas Story" movie!

Carter loves snowmen because they wear a hat like him..he always points to his head when he sees one! Oh course this is the kind of hat we have around our house ; )

Yes its me..I'm back at least for today.

Times are tough for us self employed people ..I don't want to wish time away I really don't. But some things I am looking forward to are:

Turning 43 in January (42 is a cursed year)

Carter sitting and watching Tv for more than 1 minute

The economy coming back for real ( and not what the reporters say)

Buying things I want instead of need

Feeling content and relaxed and secure when I lay my head on my pillow at night

Chris being able to do what he loves again..~build houses and golf

Listening to what Carter has to say

And of course making jewelry again!

I actually have been making some behind the scenes for special orders..but I made this super sparkly swarovski snowflake bracelet (say that 5 times)

So we went Friday to cut our Christmas Tree..of course the mild winter turned windy and cold that day.

But little Carter Hahn braved it and got his 2nd tree!

A Year and a Half Old Today!

It used to annoy me before I had a child that when you would ask how old someones little one was they also told you in months..but of course that is how I answer now because that is just how it is..everything is measured in months..even clothes.

But today I can say little Carter Hahn is offically One and a Half Years Old..or 18 months if you prefer!

And another Friday the 13th..I love it but I have no choice as that is the day I was born on!

These Tanzanite Crystals are so pretty in person..more of a warm purple color than pictured.

I oxidized the Sterling dark and buffed one and kept the other dark!

I have a new stash of Swarovski Crystals and 50 ft of Sterling Silver Chain!

I started making the necklaces today and I had to show off this one first...I am mesmerized by this color! I'm a sucker for green..not just any old green but unusual greens!

This is Crystal Verde and it is stunning...I made it while Carter was at his mamaws and I was wearing it when he came back... the minute I was in his sight his eyes locked on it and he was reaching for it!

Imagine getting or giving one of these for Christmas!?

I had to show you what he did yesterday..we were taking a walk to the back of our property so I had my camera taking some pictures (the trees are starting to turn colors here) We walked by Romeo's grave which Carter knows well now ..he always waves down to it but this time he bent over and kissed his marker stone! It really touched our hearts ;)

We have tried every kind of advertising except here on my blog..so I thought I'd try that too!

I know I have alot of international readers but you never know if someone from Spain might want to move to Ohio..(its really pretty this time of year!)

This is a house that my husband started last year before the bottom fell out of the earth. Its beautiful..but not selling and having double mortages are killing us.

Pumkin Patch!

It was so much fun this year with a 17 month old! Here is a variety of pictures in no particular order..as you can see he did a little of everything at the farm. His favorite thing was the John Deer that was pulling the tractor..he has fallen in love with any kind of work equipment.

His favorite book...one of backhoes,trackhoes,bulldozers and dump trucks! I catch him all the time sitting real quiet, turning the pages slowly taking them all in!

He is doing so much now that I can't possibly catch you up..I'm sure you have noticed my lack of blogging lately..one reason is he keeps me busy (and entertained :)

he is starting to make animal sounds and he makes the effect to try to say whatever word we ask him to. Its so sweet to finally hear his voice and words.

Yes I am still here..I'm sorry to be absent for a while. I have been busy working doing hair and trying to sell the spec house we have for sale..its not fun having double mortgages in this depressed market.

Sad Weekend

Our beloved Romeo has died...

We always talked about what this day would be like..we knew it would be bad..he was such a kind gentle loving cat..living up to his name ...and then some.

Those of you that have been reading my blog for a long time remember the post about how he was right by side when I had morning sickness so bad..he was so worried about me. He would purr and rub his head on my leg trying to make me all better. Then stare at me with a look of confusion of why he didn't fit on my growing lap anymore :)

Then the famous story of him up the tree and Chris had to risk his life and overcome his fear of heights to save him!

Chris did not like cats when we met but he had no choice but to learn if he wanted a life with me.

But it wasn't that hard with a good cat like Romeo..he is as sad today as I am.

I was brushing Romeo Friday night and I told Chris that I was kind of worried about Romeo..he just seemed thinner to me..not quite as robust as he used to be..but after all he was 13 years old.

Yesterday I was working and he came out to my shop and sat on the steps..I saw his little face looking in..my customer Nancy stopped to pet him on her way out.

The next thing I know Chris is calling me saying something was wrong with Romeo. I ran inside and he was at the bottom of the basement stairs..his back legs paralized..panting and meowing in pain.

I had to stay and work so Chris and Carter took him to the vets office.

He had a blood clot shutting off the blood to his back legs.
She gave him blood thinners and medication to try to break it up but didn't give us much hope. She said he was in alot of pain so he was sedated and given pain meds..

We went to see him that evening..he was calm and relaxed but the medication was not helping.But The vet said it was worth it to wait till morning. He purred and rubbed against my hand and face ....always the lover.

All night I kept waking up thinking.."Dead Cat Sleeping"..I know that is horrible to say but I kept thinking of him in that cage seeing the morning light with no idea it would be his last.

When the vet called in the morning with news that he was worse I was not surprised.

I had been with my Persion cat that I dearly loved when she had to be put to sleep years ago and I didn't want to do that again. We said our goodbyes the night before ..and I wanted that embedded in my memory not yet another death. So I gave the ok and later Chris brought him home.

I actually spent alot of time with him today..this sounds crazy but he looked so good..like he was sleeping, I swear I kept seeing him breathe..guess I'm just used to seeing it.

I let Fido see him..smell him and he even licked his head.

They were like brothers...

He doesn't ever do well with change..and he is acting depressed. As I am writing this he is laying in bed with me against my legs. This post shows a typical day for the best friends.

The reason we got Fido was because Romeo's sister went missing and never came home..Romeo was mourning so bad that we got a kitten. I don't want to get into that cycle again..I'm hoping Carter will take Romeo's place.

Anyway I wrapped Romeo in his leopard blanket him and Fido had slept on ... Chris was getting his spot ready..We decided on the place Romeo like to lay outside our kitchen window under a tree.

And the neatest thing..As Chris, Carter, Fido and I knelt there at his grave I looked around for a flower and one of my Hydrangeas by my porch had one brand new flower on it!..they were done blooming in June..

It was meant for sweet Romeo ..I got it and Carter threw it on top of his box.

He went through major life changes with me..death, divorce, new husband, he moved 5 times with me, job stress, other STRESS, pregnancy, accepting the new crying non sleeping baby thing, putting up with Fido when he was a hyper crazy kitten and always letting him eat first!

So he was more than just a pet for me..he was in a way my security blanket.

I think I see him everywhere and I had to stop myself from saying tonight..honey did you let Romeo in yet?

Romeo was a unique sweet boy and we will miss him forever.

Sweeper Boy

I remember reading in my baby books that some kids will be scared of the sweeper........

not my kid!

So I decided to buy him his own sweeper..he loves it turning it on an off constantly..he mimics what he has seen me do..its so funny to see what he does, things I didn't even realize he saw me do!
He even has his own cleaning trolley complete with mop, broom, dust pan, cleaning bottle and sweeper attachments!

I'm hoping this cleaning continues as he gets older....

yea right I know better ;)

I absolutly LOVE the way this necklace turned out and am so tempted to keep it for myself..but I always say that and end up listing it..so I did!
